Dozens of Coldplay fans scammed with fake tickets in Barcelona

Government announces scholarships of up to €7,000 for people wanting to become civil servants

SCHOLARSHIPS of up to €7,000 for those studying to become public servants have been announced by the Spanish Government.  The application process to benefit from them will open soon, the Ministry of Finance published on Friday.  They aim to cover candidate’s expenses during their time studying for the public examination, which can last several years.

Gibraltar mayor presents public health and elderly care services with Freedom of the City award

THE mayor of Gibraltar honoured the Gibraltar Health Authority (GHA) and Elderly Residential Services (ERS) with the Freedom of the City for their work during the pandemic. Gibraltar’s parliament voted unanimously to confer the honour on the central health service and elderly carers in July 2021 at the request of the Chief Minister Fabian Picardo.
